Due to the uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 crisis, the EAQA organizers have decided to hold EAQA 2020 as online sessions. As a result, the EAQA Programme Committee has simplified the call for contributions and is seeking proposals for abstracts only. The theme of this year's forum is "Flexible higher education: implications for QA," which will explore whether quality assurance is fit for the flexible and dynamic environment of higher education and how it could better support higher education institutions in becoming more flexible and encourage them to make the most of it. The online sessions will provide space for exchange about policy initiatives, research, and practical case examples related to the forum theme and more generally about current developments in quality assurance. These sessions are an excellent opportunity for participants to share experiences and gain fresh perspectives from colleagues from across Europe. The EAQA 2020 forum is part of the European policy agenda on quality assurance in education and training, which is guided by the Common Principles for Quality Assurance. The 2023 European Quality Assurance Forum will explore QA policies and practices that support new forms of internationalization and invite the audience to reflect on how quality assurance can meet emerging needs and arising challenges in the sector. The Forum will be of interest to rectors and vice-rectors responsible for quality assurance, quality assurance officers in higher education institutions, students, quality assurance agency staff, and researchers working in higher education or in the quality assurance field[1]. The Task Force on Enhancing Knowledge Sharing in the EHEA community, partly supported by the IN-GLOBAL project, has launched a survey to better understand how the many actors in the higher education communities perceive the EHEA and the Barcelona Process.
